For this book cover design I used colour pencils to create soft shading. I  aimed to capture the lighting and feeling from the high viewpoints on the island, looking down at the vast sea where there are birds and marine life. I hinted at the lighthouse in the distance as it is a key landmark on Rathlin Island.
